Cold weather spurs Natural Gas rebound

Natural Gas futures rebounded in the domestic and overseas market on Wednesday as investors and speculators booked fresh positions in the energy commodity as the return of bitter cold weather in the US bolstered the demand outlook for the heating fuel.
AccuWeather Inc. predicted mostly below normal temperatures in the eastern two-thirds of the US from January 31 through February 4, 2015.
At the MCX, Natural Gas futures for January 2015 contract closed at Rs 179.40 per 1 kg, up by 1.99 per cent after opening at Rs 179.4, against the previous closing price of Rs 175.9. It touched the intra-day high of Rs 186.2 till the closing
