Lack of buying drags down Coriander futures

Coriander prices fell by 0.16 per cent on Wednesday at the National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) as the adequate stocks availability in the physical market put pressure on coriander prices. At the NCDEX, coriander futures for January 2015 contract were trading at Rs. 11,425 per quintal, down by 0.16 per cent, after opening at Rs. 11,440 against the previous closing price of Rs.11,443. It touched the intra-day low of Rs. 11,399 till the trading. (At 11.35 AM today).
Sentiment weakened further as speculators reduced their positions on the back of sluggish demand in the market.
