Excessive supplies drag Crude Palm Oil future

Crude palm oil prices declined at the domestic commodity market on Friday due to weak trend and lower demand in the overseas market. The sentiment weakened further on oversupplies of the commodity from the producing areas.
At the MCX, Crude Palm Oil futures for February 2015 contract were trading at Rs.462.20 per 10 Kg, down by 0.54 per cent after opening at Rs. 465.00 against the previous close of Rs. 464.70. It touched the intra-day low of Rs. 462.10 till the trading. (At 1.30 PM today)
