White metal shines on overseas cues

Silver futures were trading higher during the evening trade in the domestic market on Tuesday as participants enlarged their positions and amidst tracking firm trend overseas.
Further, traders enlarged their positions in tune with a firm overseas trend, which mainly buoyed silver prices at the futures trade.
At the MCX, silver futures for September 2016 contract is trading at Rs 46,760 per kg, up by 1.38 per cent, after opening at Rs 46,523, against a previous close of Rs 46,125. It touched the intra-day high of Rs 46,820 (at 15:54 hours).
