Copper futures slide 0.10 % as traders lower bets

Copper futures were trading lower in the domestic market on Tuesday as participants started reducing their exposure amid muted demand at the domestic spot market and weak overseas cues.
Analysts said offloading of positions by traders at the current levels amid a weak trend in the domestic spot market and overseas influenced the prices.
At the MCX, copper futures for November 2017 contract was trading at Rs 443.90 per kg, down by 0.10 per cent, after opening at Rs 443.45, against a previous close of Rs 444.35. It touched the intra-day low of Rs 442.60 (at 2:28 hours).
