Crude oil ends higher on strong global cues

Crude oil futures closed higher in the domestic market on Wednesday amid strong cues from global peers. Oil prices had come under pressure amid spurt in US crude inventories and by expectations that OPEC and other producers could increase output at a meeting in June. At the MCX, crude oil futures for June 2018 contract closed at Rs 4618.00 per barrel, up by 2.01 per cent, after opening at Rs 4500, against a previous close of Rs 4527.00. It touched the intra-day high of Rs 4628.00.
