17/07/2018 07:48
Crude oil futures closed lower in the domestic market on Monday with talk of a possible release from global crude reserves, data from the International Monetary Fund showing a slowdown in global economic growth, and the potential for U.S. waivers on Iran oil sanctions, pushing prices for global benchmark Brent crude to their lowest finish in three months. At the MCX, crude oil futures for July 2018 contract closed at Rs 4640 per barrel, down by 5 per cent, after opening at Rs 4858, against a previous close of Rs 4884. It touched an intra-day low of Rs 4631.
