Crude oil futures end higher on OPEC comments

Crude oil futures settled higher for the second straight session in the domestic market on Thursday as speculators raised their bets even as oil eased overseas. The crude oil prices also got boost after Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) indicated that it might cut oil production again. At the MCX, crude oil futures for November 2018 contract settled trade at Rs 4957 per barrel, up by 0.38 per cent, after opening at Rs 4905, against a previous close of Rs 4938. It touched an intra-day high and intra-day low of Rs 4968 and Rs 4853, respectively.
