Copper futures slide on weak global cues

Copper futures were trading lower during the noon trade in the domestic market on Monday as speculators booked profits amid weak global cues.
Traders said off-loading of positions by speculators amid weak global cues and muted demand at domestic spot markets, led to fall in copper prices at futures trade here.
At the MCX, copper futures for November 2018 contract is trading at Rs 450.70 per kg, down by 0.12 per cent, after opening at Rs 450.00, against a previous close of Rs 451.25. It touched the intra-day low of Rs 448.70 (at 13:30 hours).
