Mentha oil falls 0.56% on fall in demand

Mentha oil futures were trading lower during the noon trade in the domestic market on Monday as speculators reduced exposure amid fall in demand from consuming industries in the domestic spot market.
Marketmen said cutting down of positions by participants due to easing demand in the spot markets from consuming industries amid sufficient stock position on increased supplies, pulled down mentha oil prices at futures trade here.
At the MCX mentha oil futures for November 2018 contract was trading at Rs 1758.0 per kg down by 0.56 per cent after opening at Rs 1765.10 against the previous closing price of Rs 1767.9. It touched the intra-day low of Rs 1752.00 (at 13:20 hours).
