Crude oil futures decline as Saudi Arabia commits to raise output

Crude oil futures closed lower in the domestic market on Tuesday as speculators slashed their bets as the market weighed Saudi Arabia’s decision to increase output. The participants also kept an eye on weekly crude stocks data in the US which will be released today. At the MCX, crude oil futures for November 2018 contract settled trade at Rs 4872 per barrel, down by 4.60 per cent, after opening at Rs 5124, against a previous close of Rs 5107. It touched an intra-day high and intra-day low of Rs 5128 and Rs 4847, respectively.
