Gold futures end lower on muted global cues

Gold futures closed marginally lower in the domestic market on Tuesday as participants trimmed their bets on yellow metal, tracking a muted trend in global market. At the MCX, gold futures for December 2018 contract ended at Rs 31868 per 10 grams, down 0.62 per cent, after opening at Rs 32072 against a previous close of Rs 32066. It touched the intra-day high and low of Rs 32160 and Rs 31851 respectively.
