Gold futures shine on firm Asian cues

Gold futures closed higher in the domestic market on Monday as participants increased their bets on yellow metal, tracking a firm trend in global market as easing concerns over a potential decline in China’s economic growth, gave a lift to gold prices in futures trade. At the MCX, gold futures for December 2018 contract ended at Rs 32071 per 10 grams, up by 0.71 per cent, after opening at Rs 31900 against a previous close of Rs 31846. It touched the intra-day high and low of Rs 32311 and Rs 31831 respectively.
