Gold futures close higher on global cues

Gold futures closed higher in the domestic market on Wednesday as participants created fresh bets on yellow metal, taking cues from global markets. At the MCX, gold futures for December 2018 contract ended at Rs 31395 per 10 grams, up by 0.36 per cent, after opening at Rs 31366 against a previous close of Rs 31283. It touched the intra-day high and low of Rs 31395 and Rs 31267 respectively.
